In the 1973 Frankie Soda hooked up with Thor. Frank got together with John Lechesseur (drums), and Charles Towers (Bass & vocals), and took the train from Vancouver to Toronto. Because of the bands diminutive size, they became the Imps.
Thor did a crazy stage show which had bricks broken on his chest with a sledgehammer, blowing up hot water bottles till they burst, and lots of pyro special effects, Also the very well known one, when Frankie put the television on his head and blew up. Between 1975 and 1976, the Imps began to gain a fan base. Their first album called "Soda Pop" was released in 1980. It didn't get the feed back they expected, none the less the Imps where an amazing band never. My parents also saw them at an old bar that used to be called the river side.
